We had a chance to run the skid plate through the tests on the rocky terrain near Howe Peak in eastern Idaho.
It’s always very comforting to no that the underside of your vehicle is safe from rocks or fallen tree branches. For the most part, the Ace just slipped over the rock. You were never jarred by an edge catching on the bottom of your vehicle—it was just a natural process of sliding over anything that could affect your overall clearance.
