BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3
UTV enthusiasts have new options for improving their vehicle performance. The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3, the brand’s toughest off-road tire yet, is now available in popular UTV sizes.
The newly available sizes were engineered for sport and multi-purpose UTVs. Built with steel-belted radial construction and adapted from race-proven technology designed for Baja 1000-winning tires, the new UTV offerings balance maximum toughness with minimal weight.
Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 features “Mud-Phobic” bars on the tire’s shoulders that are designed to release compacted mud for enhanced traction in muddy or soft soil conditions. The tire’s Terrain-Attack tread pattern includes massive tread blocks designed to deliver incredible grip from any angle of approach.
The UTV-specific tread compound in the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 is designed to deliver enhanced grip on rock and other slick surfaces. Dalton Clutch Kits
The new 50-inch Maverick Trail series from Can-Am is a new vehicle platform. The new rear engine Trail models feature a new clutch system with different clutches than previous BRP Mavericks or Outlanders.
Variations of tire sizes and terrain can require different calibrations for the clutch system to optimize “rate of shift of the belt.” Proper CVT clutch calibration can not only improve belt grip but also increase throttle response and help recover losses from the use of oversized tires.
Dalton Industries has been testing both the 800 and 1000 versions of the new vehicles in many different tire sizes and situations. There are two different kit variations for each model based on tires used.
The new kits are available for both the 800 and 1000 Maverick Trail models.
