Moose Meadows: No Animals But Plenty Of Beautiful Riding

June 2019 Feature Web Exclusive

One of the other trails we rode during our prerun run in Salmon, ID, as part of guiding responsibilities at this year’s Rally In The Pines is Moose Meadows.

We’re sad to report we didn’t see any moose on the ride (although we saw two on the drive home from Salmon later that evening) but the scenery was amazing from creekside trails to on-the-edge-of-the-earth trails that looked into deep canyons.

We spent the day with Meg and Blake Allen, who run Rally in the Pines, and they showed us several scenic spots along the Moose Meadows trail, which also includes a double-walled cabin and riding on mine tailings.

We can’t wait to show others that same trail, just one of the trails the editors at Dirt Toys Magazine will guide.

Rally in the Pines is scheduled for July 11-14.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from our ride.
