American Motorcyclist Association Thanks Veterans

November 2013 Powersport News

Pickerington, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association thanks veterans of the U.S. armed forces this Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, for their willingness, commitment and sacrifice to protect and defend the United States and the American way of life.

"This Veterans Day-and every day-we salute America's veterans for their devotion to serving our country," said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. "Veterans are a dedicated and growing segment of motorcycling, and the same patriotism and valor that they demonstrate as American servicemen and women are welcomed qualities to our two-wheeled community.

"The freedoms that we enjoy as riders are possible only through eternal vigilance," Dingman added. "Those who have put their lives on the line in the defense of our rights embody the ideal that we must strive for. We must never forget the sacrifices that America's best and bravest have made on our behalf."
