Wyoming’s Blind Bull Road Reopens

September 2019 Powersport News

The Blind Bull road (FS 10123) on the Bridger-Teton National Forest’s Greys River Ranger District opened to motorized travel Aug. 30.

The Blind Bull road closed because of landslide activity earlier this summer. Repairs were made to the road during the 2018 summer season, but minor failures caused further road closures this summer. Construction crews have fixed recent failures, and landslide activity continues to stabilize.

Central Federal Highways will continue to be engaged as further settling occurs. Blind Bull road receives a lot of use during fall the hunting season, and is also a popular groomed snowmobile route connecting communities on both sides of the Wyoming Range. This road provides access to an outfitter camp, and winter warming hut.
