The ‘America the Beautiful Access Pass’ is “a free, lifetime pass available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability (does not have to be a 100 percent disability) that provides admittance to more than 2,000 recreation sites managed by five Federal agencies.”

As the program is administered by several different federal agencies the rules vary a bit based on the location one wishes to visit.

A quick scan of the participating sites reveals that quite a few OHV destinations are included. In some cases, the pass will allow free entry for not only the passholder, but also for others traveling with the passholder.
