Each year the Manti-La Sal National Forest updates its Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) and its color travel maps.
Last year, for the first time, the forest offered full-color travel maps that combined the designated motorized roads and trails information found on the MVUM with more contextual information.
The MVUM will be available online at https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/mantilasal/maps-pubs, but not printed. The MVUM is a legal document, the travel map is not. District and supervisor's offices will print an MVUM for customers who would prefer it to the travel map. Both are no cost.
The 2019 Travel Map is being printed and will be available for customers on May 20.
