Yamaha adds more options, sizes for young riders during the holidays

Marietta, Ga. – Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, introduced the all-new Grizzly 90 this year, adding to its line of premier starter ATVs that would make an unforgettable holiday gift for entry-level riders. The Grizzly 90 is a confidence-inspiring recreational youth ATV for riders ages 10 and up, and it joined Yamaha’s two other youth ATVs—the sport-inspired Raptor 90 and YFZ50—providing more options and excitement for the holidays.

All-new for 2019, the Grizzly 90 delivers the Proven Off-Road performance and versatility of its namesake to new riders with features including mud-protection fenders, trail-pointed comfort suspension, front and rear cargo racks and new Grizzly-tread tires. The New Grizzly 90 is available in Yamaha Blue ($2,999 MSRP).

The Grizzly 90 is built to bring maximum fun to the youth ATV riders 10 and up, with a low-maintenance 90cc engine tuned to develop excellent low-to-mid range performance. It also features a fully automatic CVT transmission with reverse, a gated shifter and electric start with back-up kickstart—all standard.

2. Reduced Maintenance Design

Durable, proven components keep servicing simple and affordable, thanks to features like the tool-less quick-access air filter element.

3. Scaled Down, Not Scaled Back

The Grizzly 90 takes cues from the top-performing Grizzly 700 but is designed specifically for younger rides just getting into the sport. The result is accessible, confidence-inspiring performance with Grizzly family style.

4. Comfortable Chassis

The ergonomics are designed to fit a wide range of riders 10 and up, while the Grizzly 90’s tire and suspension package is designed to find traction and provide a comfortable ride in a wide variety of terrain.

For young riders inspired by Yamaha’s legendary racing heritage, the Raptor 90’s sporty styling brings Yamaha’s sport ATV performance, legacy and quality to the next generation of budding motorsports enthusiasts ages 10 and up. The 2019 Raptor 90 ($2,899 MSRP) is available in either Team Yamaha Blue or White.

The Raptor 90 is built to bring maximum fun to the youth ATV class for riders 10 and up, with a low-maintenance 90cc engine tuned to develop excellent low-to-mid range performance. It also has features surprising in this segment, like a fully automatic CVT transmission with reverse, gated shifter and electric start with a back-up kickstart—all standard.

Servicing is simple, too, thanks to features like the tool-less quick- access air filter element.

3. Scaled Down, Not Scaled Back

Compact A-arm front suspension is tuned for light, sporty steering and comfortable ride quality, with preload-adjustable shocks offering 5.0 inches of wheel travel and adding to the Raptor 90’s full-size ATV look. The rear swingarm also features a 5-way preload adjustable shock, offering 5.8 inches of wheel travel.

4. Comfortable Chassis

An advanced frame design incorporates a large 1.7 gallon fuel tank, plush seat and roomy integrated floorboards inside a long, secure wheelbase.

5. Yamaha Raptor DNA

For sporty looks and handling, Raptor 90 uses low-profile Duro tires on lightweight wheels and styling unmistakably inspired by the mighty Raptor 700R.

For younger riders ages six and up, the YFZ50 features additional training tools, including a tether switch capable of shutting off the engine from a pull-string if or when needed. The 2019 YFZ50 ($2,099 MSRP) is available in either Team Yamaha Blue or White.

A robust steel frame design incorporates a large 1.5 gallon fuel tank, plush seat and roomy integrated floorboards.

5. Yamaha Sport ATV DNA

For sporty looks and handling, YFZ50 uses durable Duro tires on lightweight wheels, with styling unmistakably inspired by the race- ready YFZ450RTM.
