Third Storage Compartment

Suzuki increased the amount of storage on the KingQuad by adding an additional storage compartment on the rear of the ATV. There is still the front fender-mounted storage compartment (2.8L of storage) and the rear left storage compartment (4.0L of storage). The new compartment (4.0L of storage) is right below the rear taillight between the other storage compartment and the muffler.

Several Models

There are several models of the KingQuad for 2019, both in 750 and 500 engine sizes. The base model comes without power steering, has steel wheels and is available in red or Terra Green. Next is the power steering model, which also has steel wheels and come in red, Terra Green, solid white or Camo. The SE version has EPS, cast aluminum wheels and comes in solid white. The top-of-the-line SE+ model has EPS, cast aluminum wheels and two colors: Matte Black or Matte Bronze.

Cast Aluminum Wheels

Available on the 750AXi (and 500 AXi models as well) SE and SE+, the cast aluminum wheels add a touch of style and bling to the KingQuad.

New Hitching/Towing Capabilities

Not only does the KingQuad have a new receiver-type hitch (vs. the flange mount on previous models), the towing capacity has been bumped up by 33 percent—from 992 lbs. on the previous KingQuad to 1,323 lbs. on the 2019 model. The ATV’s new frame (tubes are thicker by 0.4mm; now 2.0mm or .078 inches) helped allow for the increased towing capacity. The towing capacity is in addition to a front rack capacity of 66 lbs. and rear rack capacity of 132 lbs.

Updated Braking

The front brake pad material is new and Suzuki changed the lever ratio on the front and rear brakes. The fluid line on the front brake has also been optimized for better braking.

Multi-Function Instrument Panel

The LCD-type instrument panel has been redesigned to not only improve the gauge’s appearance but also its visibility and functionality. For instance, the backlighting is now white for improved visibility in all conditions. Also, the design of the icons, symbols and fonts that appear on the gauge have been updated and upgraded and the fuel level bar graph (on the right side of the gauge) is larger. A new service reminder—signified by a wrench icon—has been added to prompt the owner to have periodic maintenance done on the ATV.
