After experiencing more than just a couple of rainstorms the previous two days (okay, okay, on Friday’s ride it was a downpour complete with a hailstorm or two), we were holding our breath as to whether the skies would once again open during our guided tour of the Top of the World ride at this year’s Rally in the Pines in Mackay, ID.
The skies did open up—but not until we got back to town. It was a dry ride and that allowed us to do a little more exploring, something we weren’t able to do the day before due to a persistent rain.
It was a great day for a ride and a great ride for those in our group, who came from Idaho, Oregon and Washington to participate in the Rally in the Pines.
Here’s a look back at the day’s ride and that makes us look forward to next year’s event.
