Steel Bender—And A Little Plastic Too

May 2017 Feature Web Exclusive

The Steel Bender Trail in Moab, UT, comes by its name honestly. We’re sure we left a few scrapes and scratches on the new Textron Off Road (formerly Arctic Cat) Wildcat Sport we used for our day of riding on the first day of this year’s Rally on the Rocks.

We may have scrapped some plastic, too. And scrubbed the sidewalls of the tires on a few rocks.

Anyone who has ventured out on the Steel Bender Trail knows it has plenty of rocks, in addition to some slickrock and dirt and sand and then more rocks.

It was a great way to kick of our 2017 Rally on the Rocks experience. And thanks to Textron Off Road/Arctic Cat for letting us tag along on their ride. Dean Bulloch once again did a great job of guiding.

Plenty of folks were still rolling into town on Tuesday and many vendors were still setting up as we rolled back into the Old Spanish Trail Arena, site of the Rally.

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s adventures bring.
