SEMA 2016

Recapping What Caught Our Attention

We never did spot Bruce Wayne walking the show, but his Batmobile was parked at the MagnaFlow booth.

It’s kind of funny how side-by-sides have evolved to the point where they basically resemble full street vehicles like this all-new Epic4 from Oreion (www.oreionmotors.com). It just looks like you’d see it first in a Wal-Mart parking lot before seeing it out on the trail.

This manly Polaris General 1000 EPS was armored up with LINE-X ULTRA—complete with an eye-catching color design. From a racing dual exhaust, enhanced suspension kit, big wheels, new light bar mounts, a custom front windshield to a chainsaw mount—this monster was built to take on everything Mother Nature throws its way. Yes, we know it has nothing to do with UTVs, but sometimes you have to note the crazy vehicles you spot at SEMA. Bed Wood, which specializes in truck floor beds, got us to stop at their booth by displaying this over-the-top Pinewood Derby-looking car we wish we would have had when we were Boy Scouts.

Odyssey manufactures some very dependable batteries and decided to showcase its offerings on this 2017 Polaris RZR XP 1000 Terracross Edition that also doubled as a leaning post for its salesman working the booth. (www.odysseybattery.com)
