Volunteers/Help Needed For Wounded Warriors/Disabled Vets Ride

December 2015 Powersport News Web Exclusive

We got a note the other day from Bert Fox, the organizer of the Wells, NV, UTV Rally, asking if we would help spread the word about a need for volunteers with extra seats in their side-by-sides to transport Wounded Warriors and disabled vets at the 2016 rally. The rally is scheduled for June 9-12.

This would be a special, dedicated ride for Wounded Warriors and disabled vets. Fox is currently working on obtaining permission to use private property to get the group up to the Wilderness boundary in the East Humboldt Ranger so the group can overlook the Boulder Basin from the Starr Valley side. He said, “It is a spectacular view that very few people ever get to witness.”

To make that happen Fox is looking for volunteers with extra seats to get the group up there. He mentioned that he is also looking for donations and/or corporate sponsors to help pay for the vets travel and lodging.

If you can help in this effort, contact Fox at weridellc@yahoo.com.
