Yamaha Previews Activities Scheduled For This Weekend’s AIMExpo In Orlando

Cypress, CA - Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., will display its 2016 model lineup—and include several new, recently introduced models for first-time public display—at the AIMExpo this weekend at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Yamaha’s 2016 models include the 60th-Anniversary YZF-R1, YZF-R6, Super Ténéré, YZ450F and YZ250F, as well as the new YZF-R1S, YZ450FX, WR450F, YZ250X and the all-new YXZ1000R side-by-side. All models will be on display at Booth 755 on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition, a cool, new concept model—sure to create lots of media and consumer interest—will also be featured throughout the weekend at the Yamaha display.

Take A Ride On A New Yamaha

Demo rides will take place in the Orange County Convention Center parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You’ll be able to take a demo ride aboard a 2016 Yamaha FZ-07, Star Bolt or Star Bolt R-Spec; or any of the following 2015 models; FJR1300, Super Ténéré, FZ-09, FJ-09, YZF-R6, YZF-R3, Star VMAX, V Star 1300 Deluxe, Raider Bullet Cowl, Stryker Bullet Cowl, or Bolt C-Spec. Demo rides will also be available on the 2016 Viking and Wolverine side-by-sides, as well as the 2016 Kodiak 700 and Grizzly ATVs. To take a ride on a motorcycle, you’ll need a valid motorcycle license (permits are not allowed), a DOT-approved helmet, long pants, enclosed shoes, a shirt, and eye protection. To demo a side-by-side or ATV, you’ll just need a valid driver’s license (a motorcycle license is not required), long pants, enclosed shoes and a shirt. Additional safety gear will be provided.

Meet The Yamaha bLU cRU Road Racers

Your favorite Yamaha bLU cRU riders, including 2015 MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier, 2015 MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 Champion Jake Gagne, 2015 MotoAmerica Supersport Champion JD Beach, 2015 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Champion Joe Roberts, four-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes, Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha rider Garrett Gerloff, and Yamalube/Westby Racing’s Josh Day, will all be available for autographs on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 2-2:30 p.m. at the Yamaha display (Booth 755).
