Ontario, Calif. - Team ITP/Cognito Motorsports racer Justin Lambert earned the Class 1900 (Pro) victory and fellow ITP team member Lacrecia Beurrier took home the Unlimited Class win at the 2015 Best In The Desert BlueWater Desert Challenge in Parker, AZ.

"Justin Lambert put in another outstanding performance to win his second straight Best In The Desert race using ITP UltraCross R Spec Tires," said Pat McGuire, ITP Public Relations/Race Support. "It's safe to say that Lambert has found his desert-racing groove over these past two races. We also had several other Pros teams land in the top 10 and saw Lacrecia Beurrier put together a dominating win in the Unlimited class, so it was a great weekend in the desert."

The BlueWater Desert Challenge is a two-day race that combines short course racing and open desert runs outside of Parker, AZ. The race is a cumulative race that combining both days to determine the winner.

Lambert and co-driver Justin Sheakley earned the victory—their second straight Class 1900 win—in the No. 1918 Cognito Motorsports/Polaris dressed in 8-ply, 30-inch ITP UltraCross R Spec tires.

The team finished third in blinding dust on day one and started day two in third. From there, Lambert and Sheakley drove a smart race all the way to the finish. They completed six laps in a time of 3:13:54.202 to win Class 1900 and, more importantly, earn 111 points toward their chase of the class championship. Unofficially, they sit in second place behind fellow ITP team racer Johnny Angal, who owns a nine-point advantage after finishing fourth in the BlueWater Desert Challenge.

ITP support racer Ben Wilson (Mayhem Off-Road Racing/Polaris) earned third place with a time of 3:21:36.741 in his No. 1927 car. Wilson and co-driver Kenny Green also have built some momentum as they scored their first podium of the year and improved upon their solid fourth-place finish at Vegas-To-Reno with a third-place finish.

Other ITP-backed Class 1900 (Pro) race teams finished well in Parker. The No. 1913 Polaris Turbo of Braden Sims (Sims Motorsports) finished in sixth place, less than one minute behind Angal. Logan Gastel (No. 1969 Can-Am/Rugged Radios), who currently sits in sixth place in the class standings, also finished in the top 10 using ITP tires. Derek and Jason Murray (Can-Am/ITP/Murray Motorsports) earned their 37th consecutive BITD finish using ITP tires with their 11th place run to remain in the top five in the Pro class standings.

UTV Unlimited competitor Lacrecia Beurrier also kept up her winning ways with another BITD class victory. Beurrier and co-driver Chris Moore put together two great days to secure not only the win, but also the 2015 BITD class championship with the No. 2909 Polaris car.

The BITD finale, the Henderson 250, is scheduled for Dec. 4-6, in Henderson, NV.
