More than 35 Genuine Yamaha Accessories available at www.yamahawolverine.com

March 2015 Powersport News

Cypress, Calif. – Yamaha Motor Corp., has launched a new Wolverine R-Spec “Build Your Own” (BYO) website providing customers the opportunity to personalize and accessorize their vehicle online. Future Wolverine R-Spec customers can now see what their customized machine might look like via the interactive site: www.yamahawolverine.com.

Yamaha currently has more than thirty-five accessories for the Wolverine R-Spec, an all-new side-by-side (SxS) vehicle that sets a new standard in off-road capability and class-leading comfort. The new 2016 Wolverine R-Spec model was unveiled in January 2015 and is scheduled for production this month. Wolverines are being delivered directly to Yamaha dealers across the country throughout the spring from Yamaha’s U.S. manufacturing plant in Newnan, GA.

“The Wolverine R-Spec was designed and engineered for extreme terrain and was purpose built for off-road enthusiasts, hunters and explorers,” said Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s ATV and SxS group marketing manager. “The combination of an all-new nimble chassis with a compact design, look and feel allows for a wide selection and multiple options for Genuine Yamaha Accessories, which are developed in tandem with the vehicle for the highest quality, durability and performance standards that Yamaha customers have come to expect.”

Future Wolverine R-Spec customers can now virtually customize their SxS via the BYO tool on the Yamaha website to get an idea for what accessories best suit their needs. The Yamaha accessories division is supporting that customization—and the versatility of the Wolverine R-Spec vehicle—by developing and sourcing a comprehensive catalog including popular products like folding windshields and wind deflectors, overfenders, cargo bed boxes, front grab bars, accessory mounting bars with spare tire mounts and gun boot mounts that can be ordered directly from and installed by Yamaha dealers.

“Build Your Own” sites for other Yamaha ATV and SxS vehicles can be found at www.YamahaMotorsports.com.
