This was the end of the trail—literally.
During a May trip to Moab for the Rally on the Rocks event, we took a day and broke away from the crowd and tackled a couple of trails—Rusty Nail and Gold Bar Rim.
These trails are rated difficult and provide plenty of obstacles to test your driving skills—and your skid plate.
We chose the end of the Gold Bar Rim trail for our lunch break.
The views were simply stunning. And the drop off, shall we, say precipitous.
