The stock Polaris RZR intake opening between the driver and passenger seats draws dust directly into the clutch compartment and the airbox. This causes premature wear of clutch components and clogging of the stock air filter.
Carls Cycle has a K&N prefilter kit that installs between the seats. The design is to trap the dust before entering the clutch compartment and airbox. This allows for extended service intervals of both the clutch system and air filter replacement. The K&N prefilter can be washed and re-oiled for a lifetime of use.
The kit fits all 2008-2012 Polaris 800 RZR models, including S and 4-seater, and installs in about 1.5 hours. The kit retails for $142.95.
