August 2013 Powersport News

Polaris Industries recently announced the Ranger XP 900 has been awarded "Best of the Best" by Field & Stream Magazine. The Ranger XP 900 is the third Polaris off-road vehicle in five years to win the prestigious award.

"Polaris would like to thank Field & Stream for recognizing Polaris' contribution to the hunting industry," said Warren Lopata, marketing director of Polaris' Off-Road Division. "It's an honor to be recognized by the world's leading outdoor magazine."

Polaris defined an all-new class of "hardest working, smoothest riding" with the introduction of the new full-size Ranger XP 900 for model year 2013. The vehicle features a new ProStar 900 engine, all-new chassis, more suspension, new restyled cockpit, flip-up seat storage, larger gas tank, integratedLock & Ride Pro-Fit cab accessories, easier serviceability and a quieter ride due to engine repositioning.

"Our staff spent the better part of the past year finding and testing the gear that will make readers' time in the woods more productive and more fun," says Slaton White, eputy editor of Field & Stream. "The winning products not only withstood our tough testing, but they stood head and shoulders above the rest, displaying absolute excellence in their field. The `Best of the Best' is the highest honor Field & Steam bestows on gear and the winning products are the best of the year-worth your time, worth your money."

The Ranger XP 900, along with all the "Best of the Best" winners, can be seen in the August edition of Field & Stream or at FieldandStream.com/BOTBHunting2013.
