the presenting sponsor of the Pure Side-X-Side Series.
Known for its online SXS superstore, SXS Performance is partnering with Lou
Parelta of Alta Vista Events as the presenting sponsor of the Pure Side-X-Side
series. Owner and operator Pareltawill be conducting the series in the
beautiful California
City desert. All races
are ISA sanctioned, meaning there are abundant classes for multitalented UTV
drivers.
Not only will SXS Performance be the presenting sponsor of the entire series, it
will also have a full contingency program set up for every race. The
contingency program will award the first finisher who has a SXS Performance
logo on his or her vehicle with free entry into the next round. This
contingency will be valid in both the pro and sportsman classes. In addition to
this contingency program, SXS Performance will have a completely stocked vendor
booth set up at each event. The booth will be full of parts and accessories for
racer and recreationalist alike.
The Pure Side-X-Side Series
will include vehicle classes for every type of racer; from the novice who just
bought a stock machine, to the expert driver who has a fully modified,
race-ready side-by-side. The classes for the series include Unlimited 4,
Unlimited 2, Production 1000, Production 850, Production 700 and a
Stock/Beginner class. Each class is specifically designed to bring out the best
in both man and machine while also providing a fair playing field for every
competitor.
To ensure that they are even more involved in the series, SXSPerformance.com
will be fielding its own race side-by-side in the Unlimited 4 class. Driven by Matt
Lasher, the 1924 Monster Energy Kawasaki Teryx will be ready to take on the
field of expert drivers.
All five races of the 2013 Pure Side-X-Side Series will be held in the
beautiful desert locale of California City, CA. Nestled in the high desert above Mojave, California City
offers up some of the best desert terrain in California, making for a perfect racing
location.
The draw for starting positions for the first race and fun run were held April
6. The inaugural race for the 2013 season will be April 20. More information is
