Wow. Where do we start when talking about Can-Am’s new Maverick X3? Wow is a good place to start but doesn’t really come close to describing in any way how well the turbocharged Maverick X3 showed during a two-day adventure ride in Baja, Mexico.
Yea, you read right. Baja, Mexico. Not only did we get to take the X3 through its paces in Baja but we did so on many parts of the famed Baja races that test man and machine. We may not have been ripping along at break-neck speeds but we did do our best to see what the Maverick X3 could—and couldn’t—do.
It does plenty. It goes fast. Wicked fast (154 horsepower). It eats whoops like they were frosted flakes. Its aggressive look is only matched by its aggressive ride.
In short, it was more than up to anything the Baja course could throw at it.
