Klim donated six pallets of clothing

September 2016 Feature Web Exclusive

Stephanie Stolworthy with Andersen Hitches teamed up with Harris Publishing to collect items through a clothing drive for the people of Louisiana who have been affected by the storms and flooding.

In a span of three weeks, the people of southeastern Idaho from Pingree all the way to Island Park banded together and provided items ranging from clothing and shoes to baby essentials to toiletries and bedding to school supplies among other things. Klim, based out of Rigby, showed its support by donating a generous six pallets of clothing. Local churches and humanitarian groups also participated in the drive.

Andersen Hitches has territory in Louisiana and Stolworthy wanted to do something for the people that were suffering from the natural disasters. She also had contacts with ladies in Louisiana that helped gather items.

Drop off points were at Andersen Hitches, Harris Publishing and Woodland Hills Elementary. News of the drive was spread mostly word-of-mouth but was also spread through social media, radio spots and the local news channel.
