Pick A Favorite: Hard To Do On Paiute Trail

August 2018 Feature Web Exclusive

There are so many things to like about central Utah’s Paiute Trail it’s hard to pick a favorite.

There are two stand-out features that maybe rise above most of the rest of our list of likes. First there are the trails, which range from easy to very difficult (with just about everything in between) and lots of them. The scenery is simply spectacular from the high desert to the mountains to the incredible vistas when the trees open up.

We spent two days riding the Paiute Trail with Dustin Sweeten of Powerhouse Motorsports (www.powerhouseusa.com/) in another one of his customer appreciation rides and we came away from the event with a lot of photos, a lot of memories and a strong desire to return soon.

Day one of our ride had us leaving Beaver, UT, and heading through the high desert to the mountain tops—to 10,000 feet plus—across the mountain range and back down on the eastern side into the high desert as we made our way to Marysvale for the night.

We logged nearly 80 miles and not one mile was boring. There was adventure all along the way and an opportunity to explore country we haven’t seen before. And that is just the first day. We can only imagine what tomorrow’s ride will bring.
