CAN-AM OUTLANDER XT-P 1000R/XT-P 850

The rec-utility Outlander XT-P 1000R and XT-P 850 ATVs expand upon the Outlander XT platform with their own unique features. An attractive Carbon Black & Sunburst Yellow color is now available for 2019. These ATVs, which feature class-leading performance and the fully revised front and rear suspension system also sport-proven Fox 1.5 Podium QS3 piggyback shocks, large 14-inch cast-aluminum wheels with authentic beadlocks and durable ITP Terra Cross tires for a superior ride.

Performance

- NEW 2 Rotax V-Twin engine options

The muscular 91 hp, 976cc liquid-cooled eight-valve Rotax V-twin engine is the industry’s most powerful production ATV engine ever. The Outlander 850 is powered by a 78 hp, liquid-cooled, 854cc V-twin engine, the most powerful engine in its category.

Handling

- Fox 1.5 Podium QS3 piggyback shocks

The Fox 1.5 Podium QS3 (Quick Switch 3) shocks offer simple suspension adjustments for owners and feature a three-position tool-free adjuster knob to setup the suspension for a smooth and comfortable ride or high-performance handling. The piggyback shocks also enhance the XT-P ATV’s handling and performance in challenging conditions.

- NEW Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI) rear suspension

The new TTI rear suspension is designed to eliminate scrub and camber changes when the suspension works up and down and keep the quad in straight line. The rear suspension also has motion-control shocks and offers 9.9 inches (25.1 cm) of travel. It includes a removable external sway bar and lower pivot points for geometric squatting to improve traction and power transfer.

- NEW Arched Double A-arm front suspension with dive-control geometry

An all new arched double A-arm front suspension with 9.2 inches (23.3 cm) of travel and an integrated sway bar offers unmatched handling while maintaining comfort.

- Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)

The Tri-Mode DPS system features three modes (MIN, MED and MAX) allowing riders to select the desired amount of steering assist to adjust to the terrain requirements and to his riding style. All modes offer less assist at high speed to keep maximum steering feel to the rider and more assist at low speed to reduce steering effort.

- Visco-Lok QE front differential

All DPS-equipped models come with the Visco-Lok QE calibration giving an even quicker engagement of the front differential.

- NEW 14-inch (35.6 cm) cast-aluminum beadlock wheels

New, package specific 14-inch (35.6 cm) cast-aluminum beadlock wheels with a design that offers reduced unsprung weight but improved strength. The black beadlock wheel is a mechanical fastening device that makes it nearly impossible for the tire to break its bead from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering.

- 26-inch (66 cm) ITP Terra Cross tires

Durable 26-inch (66 cm) ITP Terra Cross tires supply versatile traction in varying terrain.

Rider-Focused Design

- NEW Selectable riding modes

The new Can-Am Outlander ATVs with the 91 hp Rotax V-Twin engine feature intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) and three operating modes (Standard, Sport and Work) to provide smooth throttle delivery for recreational endeavors, work and when hauling loads and riding with passengers. Sport mode supplies max power, torque and response while the other modes (Standard and Work) are designed to smooth throttle control even more in working situations or navigating challenging terrain with a passenger.

- NEW 1,650-lb. towing capacity

The Outlander offers the most towing capacity in the ATV industry at 1,650 lbs. (748.4 kg) towing capacity and a standard 2-inch (5 cm) receiver hitch.

- Large 5.4-gallon (20.5 L) fuel tank

The fuel tank is rated to hold 5.4 gallons (20.5 L) of fuel.

- Analog/digital gauge package

The analog/digital gauge package includes high-grade instrumentation and aesthetically pleasing design. It includes an analog tachometer and speedometer combined with an advanced digital information center.

- 625-W magneto

The powerful 625-W magneto means more amps for running accessories.

- 3,000-lb. WARN winch

The Outlander XT-P 1000R has a 3,000-lb. (1,361 kg) WARN winch with roller fairlead.

- Heavy-duty front and rear bumpers

For an edgier and more rugged trim, the XT-P models include heavy-duty front and rear bumpers.

- Aluminum handlebars w square bar pad and race-type grips

The XT-P includes a lower-profile handlebar with square bar pad and racing grips for enhanced performance.

- Wind deflectors w/aluminum, full-wrap braces

The wind deflectors wrap around the handlebar ends for an aftermarket-like look that is comfortable and protective.

- NEW Stylish design

All Can-Am Outlander 650, 850 and 1000R ATVs have a newly revised and muscular front grille that borrows styling from the Can-Am Maverick X3 side-by-side vehicle. Also included are fresh aluminum bumper corners.

- NEW Colors available
