Live Vegas To Reno Race Feeds: A Trail Of Two Cities For Team KYMCO KEP Team

August 2017 Racing

Somewhere in Nevada, USA: Food for thought. Please remember to check out the arbitrarily scheduled live race feed during the next few days at the crazy beastly Best in the Desert General Tire Vegas to Reno Presented by Fox off-road racing event, which is about 550 miles of rocks, mountain passes and basin and ridge riding, on a trail between two cities.

Team KYMCO KEP (KYMCO Extended Protection) WARP Offroad Factory Racing has been on site posting on social media for two days already. The story has begun.

Team KYMCO KEP WARP Offroad Factory Racing riders are nationally one of the top-ranked GNCC ATV racers. There is Adam McGill, who is excited about this opportunity and feels confident that his team can have a strong finish. Also, newly crowned 2017 GNCC 4x4 Lites champion Justin Wood and his beard, and team captain Alex “Wicked Al” Kollitz, a multi-time WORCS champion, who will be leading the charge.

"We spent yesterday testing and dialing in our race quad to compete and complete this desert challenge,” Thad Josey, creative manager for KYMCO USA, said. “Today, we’ve completed sign-up, passed tech inspection and will attend the riders meeting tonight before getting one more night of good sleep. Tomorrow is the day and we are looking forward to tackling this massive test of endurance."

KYMCO USA will be posting Facebook live streaming reports, images and short videos for maximum entertainment, plus postings on Instagram (@kymco_offroad). The Facebook address is https://www.facebook.com/KYMCO.ATV/, and also look for race reports in excellent ATV/UTV media outlets such as Dirt Toys http://www.dirttoysmag.com, ATV Rider Magazine http://www.atvrider.com and ATV Illustrated http://atvillustrated.com

Really cool information can also be found at http://bitd.com. Scroll down for its Vegas to Reno home page where there are links to PDF maps of the circuit and GPS links, schedules, qualifying and race results, rules, and all sorts of very neat Vegas to Reno stuff that shows why all of the teams doing this race might have thought it seemed like a good idea at the time. Watch out for the teddy bear cholla cactus, properly known as Cylindropuntia Bigelovii. That plant is just plain mean. KYMCO doesn’t care.

The sponsors supporting Team KYMCO KEP WARP Factory Racing include KEP, WARP Offroad, Elka Suspension, TrakMotive, TireBlocks, CST, Dynojet and MZM Performance.
