Mitch Guthrie Jr. Makes It Two In A Row In WORCS

RZRs sweep podium in Pro class

March 2015 Racing

Minneapolis - Polaris factory racer Mitch Guthrie, Jr. repeated his WORCS Round 3 success in Round 4 this past weekend taking both the SxS Pro and SxS Unlimited classes.

Guthrie Jr., would pull the holeshot in the SxS Unlimited class with his 2014 RZR XP 1000 EPS and never looked back, taking the win.

In the Pro Class, Guthrie Jr. would settle into second behind another Polaris factory racer, RJ Anderson with Polaris factory racer, Ryan Piplic right behind him. Guthrie Jr. would get around Anderson and was able to get a gap between himself and Anderson so he could take care of the car. He’d finish first with Piplic taking second and Anderson third. RZRs would take the top six spots in the class.

The single-seat class would see three Polaris ACEs line up with Ronnie Anderson in his Walker Evans/UTVUnderground/Polaris ACE 570 taking third. Anderson sits in second in the point standings with four races in.

The next WORCS race is in Hurricane, UT, April 17-19.
