For some, they are the purest form of fun one can have on four wheels. As for the rest, they are looked upon as ridiculously high-priced plaything that causes more harm than good. However, whichever side of the argument you are on, there is no denying the fact that the popularity of ATVs in India has been growing with time.

But unlike us lot, ATVs are some of the most loved vehicles all across Europe and UAE. Nearly all of the major players of the ATV space including Polaris, Yamaha and Honda have been offering their entire range of ATVs. But in India, to have an ATV, buyers have not many choices but to get it assembled or get it fully imported; which is why Pune based Nebula Automotive, an all-terrain vehicle manufacturer and distributor, has launched an all-new range of high-end ATVs to cater to this growing niche market.

With the entire line-up consisting of over 20 different models, Nebula Automotive (http://nebulaauto.com/) now offers a full spectrum of lifestyle vehicles ranging from 110cc small-size ATVs to 800cc twin seaters ideal for serious off-road enthusiasts.

The most outrageous looking vehicle of the lot, the three-wheel Trike is more of a showboating tool than a serious offroader. Featuring a 300cc water-cooled engine with electric start, the Trike can seat two people and comes with a price-tag of Rs 7.70 lakh.  The HS800, on the other hand, with its 800cc, V-twin engine and 4WD system, genuinely boasts of go-anywhere capabilities. Priced at Rs 16.5 lakh, the HS800, like the Trike, will cater to the needs of limited number of enthusiasts.

The single seater AX700, probably the sportiest of the lot, also promises serious performance off the road, thanks to its 686cc liquid cooled engine and 4WD with 3-way locking differentials. Priced at Rs 12 lakh, the AX700 also features a CVT gearbox and disc brakes all-round.

Commenting on the launch of the all-new range, Mr. Sukhdev Asnani , Managing Director of Nebula Automotive, said "The off-road market in India has tremendous potential. Until now our performance and growth has been exceptional.  The addition of these new ATVs furthermore strengthens our placement in the market.  The Trike ATV and the HS800 will be unique models and we are confident that given their performance and pricing, they will be well accepted in the market."

The new range starts at shade under Rs 1 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 23 lakh.
