SXSPerformance.com Launches Unique Idea To Support Land Use Efforts

November 2011 Powersport News

With the new threats of recreation areas being closed every day around the nation SXSPerformance.com launched a new project this week with a unique spin on generating income for much needed OHV activism to help keep public lands open for motorized recreation.

The UTV and side x side based retail outlet from Montana offers discount pricing on its growing inventory of parts and accessories. SXSPerformance.com finishes every transaction with a pledge to match a dollar donation to the International Side X Side Association (ISA) if the customer chooses to take the $1 "Check Out Challenge." The donations will be contributed to the ISA Heritage fund and be used to help keep our public lands open to OHV users.

Tipping the scales right now is the Johnson Valley Marine base expansion issue. "The Marine Base expansion into Johnson Valley is going to be a very expensive battle and every dollar we raise makes a difference in keeping our public lands open." Jeff Knoll, ISA chairman, said.

"The staff at SXSPerformance.com has a long standing tradition of land use activism and support for keeping our public lands open," said Mike Lasher, who has signed SXSPerformance.com as an associate sponsor of his Monster Energy Kawasaki UTV racing effort. The ISA offers a perfect opportunity to support that same tradition and foster the growth of a dedicated voice of the SXS industry."
